|
| The Imperial School of Anaesthesia, formerly
the North West Thames School of Anaesthesia, was established in April 1996
following the changes in postgraduate medical education after the Calman
Report. It comprises a number of hospitals mainly located in North West London. Some of these hospitals are internationally renowned for their excellence in teaching and research in the field of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care. The aim of the School is to ensure that first class training is offered to its trainees throughout the hospitals in the School and continue with the tradition of the uncompromised quest for excellence in research as well as clinical practice. In this web site we provide information regarding the School. A web site of this kind is permanently under construction and you will find more information in the future.
